Life of a Showgirl - TS12

Taylor Swift announced her new album, the Life of a Showgirl on the New Heights podcast on August 12th, 2025 at 12:12 am. We don’t know a lot about the album, but the look is easy to copy.

Getting Started

There are a couple of main themes for little girls Taylor Swift outfits for the Eras Tour and/or Halloween. A tie-dye look a la the Lover album (and the the hit song “Cruel Summer”), a white or silver dress with cowboy boots and a guitar a la her debut album, or, when in doubt, something sparkly.

Lover Album: Cruel Summer

Cruel Summer was one of this summer’s most popular songs, and Taylor uses it to kick off the Eras Tour show. It’s a really sweet and simple tie-dye look with blue, pink, and sometimes yellow. Lots of kiddos at the Eras Tour in Seattle copied this look. I like it because it’s casual and comfy, too.

Once you choose your cute, tie-dyed top, dress, or set, complete the look with heart gems around their eye and sequin sneakers.

Debut Look: Classic Taylor Swift

A classic white or silver dress, brown cowboy boots, and a guitar is a classic Taylor Swift look. Here’s a great and easy outfit for your little:

Add a pair of cowboy boots and a guitar, make her hair curly if you can, and you’ve got a great look.

Easy T-Shirt Looks

A really simple, cute, and comfortable look is to channel Taylor Swift from “22” (from her Red Era) or her “You Belong with Me” music video. For each of these, you need a white t-shirt, black pants/shorts, and a pair of glasses for an accessory.

If you want more of a Taylor Swift Halloween Costume and less of an Eras Tour outfit, here are a few ideas.

From a quality perspective, the pink Taylor Swift costume is your best bet. I used to work for the company that made it (like a decade ago) and it’s going to be better than any “costume” quality piece you find at a local store. Much closer to clothes or something you could wear in a school play (Shoutout North Mankato, MN!!) The bodysuit and unitard are tour lookalikes, but will be cheaper. Don’t forget accessories like a wig and mic!
